Update on Sports Carnival..

As promised, I shall update on the sports carnival yesterday..

The night before the day, for don't know what reason, I just can't sleep until around 2 something in the midnight, and forced myself to wake up the next day at around 6 am..

Went to UM with Wei Chin.. Registration starts at 7.30 to 8 am.. but one of our team member, Yik See didn't turn up.. and because of that, we almost lost the chance of playing as she is the only girl in our team.. the rules state that there must be at least one girl playing on the court.. Luckily, Amanda from the other A levels team agreed to join our team..

In the group stage, we won against two of our opponents, A levels team 1 and Law.. losing to econs department.. With that, we managed to enter semi finals..

In semi finals, we played against business team 2, which was the champion that day and of course, we were outclassed by them.. In 3rd and 4th placing, again, we are lined up against econs.. where this time, one of their main player didn't play.. We played our best match against them this time, and only to lose 31 - 30 in the end.. just 1 precious point seperating us from a bronze medal.. so close..

But whatever is it, we should be back next year and by that time.. our target will be far higher than this time.. hopefully we will be able to do it.. anyways, I learnt a lot from that day.. and 4th place is considered good for us considering that we didn't put in any hope of going that far in the beginning, and we almost lost the chance of even playing a game.. So really thanks to Amanda, the savior of the day.. =D

That's all for now I guess.. should be switching back to exam mood now.. 3 more papers to go..
